We believe that teachers are the lynchpin of modern civilization. They are role models and the backbone of a country. Our teachers are no different. With perfect academic excellence, our teachers offer guidance and act as great conveyors of knowledge. They inspire , initiate and educate our students in interesting ways.
Our teachers are adaptive and are no strangers to using modern technology for an interesting and engaging class. They make the classes fun and instil confidence in the students. They practise self- reflection to the highest standard that keeps the students motivated , interested, and eager to learn.
We at Challenger International School believe in real-world learning. We instil confidence in our students by heavily using real- world examples and motivating them to learn. Our curriculum is heavily focused on the demands of the 21st century. We take pride in acquiring well-needed 21st-century skills through industrial visits and experiments.
CIS follows value based education which is an approach to teaching that works with values. Our teachers and academic experts create a strong learning environment that enhances academic attainment and develop our students' social relationship skills which last throughout their lives.
As the brain develops much more rapidly in these early years of growth, our curriculum for pre-primary students is designed in a way that supports the said growth. It engages students in a lot of outdoor activities. Kids play different games and indulge in varied activities that make them cheerful and happy. Rhymes, storytelling sessions along with activities that enable physical movement help them learn basic skills.
As UNICEF puts it - "Primary education is the bedrock of development." CIS does believe that Primary Education is where children learn their foundational skills that prepare them for life and work. Our curriculum for Primary students is designed in a way that promotes activity based learning along with experiments where they are able to imbibe the textual knowledge at ease.
CIS follows Telangana's SCERT curriculum for its middle school curriculum. Along with the state curriculum, our students are embedded in extra-curricular activities such as computing and robotics, handled by faculty that are separate from the regular curriculum. Students are engaged in collaborative learning, which we believe is a booster for inter-personal development.p>
In addition to following Telangana's SCERT curriculum, CIS teachers implemented a curriculum for grades 9 and 10 students that promotes problem solving. Students are engaged in regular classes where they learn algebra, trigonometry, history along with civics and economics. Students are given a taste of competitiveness and winning with this curriculum.
